Wow, what an incredible 4.5-hour endurance race covering 290 laps! Teaming up with Marcos made it an unforgettable experience. Our weekend kicked off with solid practice runs on Friday. Saturday brought rain, but Sunday blessed us with perfect weather for an awesome race. Despite starting in 8th, we hung in with the main pack and narrowly missed the podium due to an extra pit stop. My last 60-minute stint behind the wheel was grueling, taking me three days to recover, but the thrill is unmatched. Can’t wait to dive back into the action again. Such an amazing experience!
What I’ve learned from this experience is to believe in myself. It’s shown me that I can not only compete well in KZ but also hold my own in the AKC races.
